Hidden Gem: You'll wish you heard this song sooner

This is "Hoy y Siempre" by Eduardo Díaz. He composed this piece dedicated to his Wife and Daughter, and it means "Today and Forever". This piece was absolutely unknown for me until very recently, and I fell in love with it immediately, I think there's something really fresh and hopeful in it. And turned out it's so satisfying to play it! Sheet music and tabs available at: www.sheetmusicplus.com...

Hey friends, just wanted to share this kinda spontanious music video with you Capy and I recorded last week. We were recording Gymnopedie no 1 by Erik Satie, and after we finished, we were walking to get some pho nearby. But the sunset was so beautiful, especially as we were walking by the river, we quickly had to catch the last shines of the sun. We had to be super quick because the sun was go...

The BEST Beethoven Arrangements for Classical Guitar??
No different (sound) Maybe you can play more easy on the 6000.
Which guitar is a $6000 guitar and which is a $600 guitar? >"Which is which?" I'll use the last image as my reference: The one on the left is worth $600. The one on the right is worth $6,000. The one in the middle is worth six-billion dollars.
Beautiful!
Flawless.
I think it was Chet Atkins who once said that it takes a guitar 20 years to figure out that it isn’t a tree anymore.
Thanks!

such great tips! You are awesome!!!! I love that book effortless mastery and your a wealth of invaluable info too! ty ty ty so much!!!!
I agree that the zooming in and out was a little distracting, but you were so hillarious in this one. I love what you did with the sturdy cellophane (You called it foil, but you can’t see through foil.)

Waltz Parisienne by Tatiana Stachak. I saw you playing this piece live. It's easy to play and very stimulating. Also you got some great editing skills there!
Which song did you play?
Excelente interpretación, magnífica composición. Mil gracias. Saludos desde Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Do you have a spy-camera in the room where I usually practice my techniques? 😃 Thanks for all your recommendations, thank you so much.
Getting used to how bad we play. That's it. It's really tough to overcome that frustration and anger visiting all the time again and again You're saying (in problem 5 section) that you only had a couple of arpeggios during your studies. Apologies in advance in case I'd be saying heresy but I'd like to be develop fingerstyle playing technic what seems to be pretty close to arpeggiating to me (the inquisition can burn me for this statement but there are still common aspects). I'm still a begginer but I can see I'm getting a bit better with the ones I'm practicing but of course I still do feel quickly weird or lost as soon as I'm trying a new pattern so that my brain even bring back my fingers to play any other form they're more used to it if I don't pay enough attention on that. I think I'm not exceptionnal in the way that others certainly feel the same and therefore I can understand that they're practicing a bunch of different arpeggios in order to improve their arpeggio catalog in order to overcome this clumsyness arising while changing to a different new/unusual pattern. Very probably due to my inexperience I'm lacking what you wanted to point out with that: What happens specially over time in long term? It's clear that the goal is to get the skill be integrated so that you can be going in autopilot mode without thinking at all about it but it seemed to me something else was meant. Anyway thanks for the wise words and for this interesting video
For me help if i put away guitar for one, two, three or more weeks and when i start to play again, then i realise how good am i : ) Then i see where is still to place to more progres and how to do it. I dont do it on purpose, only when i have enough off practice and i see that there is no more progres.
Wow, this will be a great piece!!!😮
You are smile😊
Beautiful inspiring hope my journey takes me to your level one day👍👍🤘🤘
Very nice. I'm currently writing a guitar book for beginner students of music that is very attainable for the amateur player. My goal is to write stuff that sounds much more complex than it is to get kids interested once they see how attainable it is after practice.
Sounds great! It’s one of my goal for the future to make something like that too!
The question is why you suck.... because i tell you to...🤣😋🫵😘
I don't know which is which but i like the 2nd one better
Well… No, no, and no. 😁 The main goal for every learner of any type of instrument should be to have fun and to clearly profit from what he or she is trying to achieve. That may include being precise, but not at any price. Metronomes are old fashioned and don‘t need to be used today. There are much better tools you can load on to your iPhone, tablet or whatever. Tools that are much more fun to use and a lot more motivating. And what good is high precision if you loose interest over time and stop playing entirely? That‘s the fate of most students that follow your old fashioned methods. And that‘s sad, because music can be so much more if you give it a chance. ✌️😎🎸

Hi!,I think Asturias it's hard.
Absolutely beautiful...what Guitar tuning is this piece in please.
It’s just standard 😁
"Why do you need so many guitars? You can only play one at a time anyway..."
“Why would you play electric guitar when you can play classical?”
Beautiful, Beatrix! Your composition definitely does NOT suck ❤ This sounds like an amazing etude and I really hope you release a full version 😊 The closing chords are right up my alley ❤
great point
I appreciate all this terrific advice - especially your point about making peace with your personal progress. To build on that thought, I would add one more piece of advice. And that is to try to be kind to yourself during the challenging journey of learning guitar. I wouldn’t tell a friend who is learning guitar that they suck. I’d try to be positive and kind and encouraging. If that’s the way to treat a friend, shouldn’t I treat myself in the same kind manner? Telling myself I suck never makes me better.
Hi! Oh, Asturias (Leyenda/
Asturias intro is pretty difficult tho, at least for me.😂😂😂 Harmonics are the devil and, like she said, a well done legato.
Same with a Rolex and 😂😂a 1 to1 Rolex clone
Congrats
I've been learning regular guitar on and off for about ten years. I've just bought a classical guitar and am trying to learn classical now too. The playing the same string with different fingers, the position, the sight-reading when I'm used to tab... It's all tricky stuff
